Simmer Down

The wait time wasn't long at all. Everyone from the hostess,waitress was great. The food we started off with an appetizer Shrimp,southwestern egg rolls,and onion petals, main course, Mahi Mahi was cook to perfection the glaze added a nice touch with pineapple salsa was really tasty. My husband had the fried chicken sandwich plate. He loved that the portion was big but also pretty tasty. We will be bk. Thanks simmer down for participating in our Friday night date night .

Delicious food! I had a trip to the salad bar, a glass of wine, and the ribs. Very good food quality! It was a nice dinner! Thanks!

Probably one of the better steaks that I’ve ever eaten in my life. We got the steak for two that comes with four sides! The service was excellent, and the food was spectacular.

I do not have a "favorite" because I have not eaten a single thing that was not delicious. Appetizers are wonderful enough to make a meal. Steaks are tender and delicious. Salad bar has everything you could want and then some. Fish that my grandson will tell you is delicious. Ribs on the bone are fall off the bone awesomeness ! Great atmosphere! Great staff! If looking for somewhere to go and have not tried Simmer Down - you are definitely in for a treat!

They had a really good salad bar. The steak was good. Baked potato was good. Sweet tea was good. Staff was friendly, and service was very good. The decor is good. The only negative things I can say is they need Texas toast like Bonanza restaurant had and actual real butter for the baked potato. Sadly, most all restaurants nowadays use fake margarine that is poison.

My husband and I went to Simmer Down for our first time tonight. When we got there the parking lot was full. We both expected to have to wait a while before getting a table, however to our surprise our wait was only 5 mins. The building is really nice with a warm cozy atmosphere. We were seated, and immediately greeted by our waitress Ashley, she was incredibly polite and friendly. We ordered sweet tea to drink. The tea was fabulous. We skipped an appetizer and went straight to ordering the steak for two dinner. Hush puppies were brought to the table as a complimentary treat. Our Steak dinner came with 4 sides. We both got the salad bar, and loaded baked potato. The meal all comes with a dinner roll or Texas toast. (We got the toast. The salad bar was great, everything was fresh and there were lots of different things to choose from. Our steak was cooked perfectly! Juicy, tender and seasoned wonderfully. We will definitely be back. Our dinner was only 42 (that’s before tax) and of course the tip we left. 10/10 definitely would recommend

Very nice place with casual atmosphere! The food was great! My husband and I ordered the steak for two with salad bar, hush puppies and fries! We were not disappointed! Our waitress was attentive but not intrusive! Definitely will be back! It's a bit loud but that's to be expected with all the people there!

Our church retiree group went this evening and our waitress was top notch. The lady who did the birthday was fantastic. Good atmosphere. I did have to send my steak back because it was a little done but it was done gracefully and so good the second time. I recommend this restaurant.
